A facial scrub is a treatment designed to exfoliate the skin and remove dead cells. The purpose is to free the skin of dead skin cells, impurities, and excess sebum. There are two kinds of exfoliating agents included in face scrubs: exfoliators with microfine granules, such as Gentle Exfoliating Emulsion, which exfoliate the skin and dissolve the surface of blackheads, and enzymatic exfoliators without granules, such as Soft Peeling, which are recommended for sensitive skin.
